Hi everyone,
This is my final year project DOCT-O-SCOPE (Doctor's Own Small Clinic Organisation and Personal Information System).
Make sure you have the following installed :
1) Microsoft .NET framework 2.0
2) MS SQL Server Compact Edition 3.1
3) Crystal Reports for .NET framework 2.0

Some of its features include...
--> A system to record detailed patient data (both personal and treatment) and track all visits.
--> A systematic storage of contacts for referral to specialists, hospitals, blood banks, medical suppliers and others.
--> A daily accounting system to keep track of all expenses.
--> A systematic inventory of medical supplies in the clinic and automatic update on prescription.
--> Password protected personal information section recording important details like bank accounts, insurance and investments.
--> Built in templates for medical certificates and bills.
--> Reports to keep a track of income and expenditure.
--> Reminders which can be set to sound at any time of the day.
--> Quick Notes, Calendar and a user - friendly, customizable interface.
--> Automatic updates.

EDIT

Very nice...a comprehensive data management application.
If only you could let the user (doctor) decide the text to be displayed alongside the display image - the clinic name, doctor's name etc. - it would become an out-of-the-box product. This info could be collected the very 1st time the app is run if you don't want it to be editable (if the app license is based on a per doctor/per clinic basis).

Anyways...very good work.  Cool

Cheers
SaM

Looks good...

Username, Password?
Or how to create a new account?

the features sound cool... i formatted my comp... will install the pre-requisites some time soon... will post my comments later... bye!!

slightly off topic,

ja, this is a release. agreed, it isnt an AXIS work, but rupal has chosen to post it here and allow us to use her app... so i think it is only fair that this thread gets its place on the home page...

u know, u can also update the text below the forum names in the forum homepage... provide a link to the latest important threads... do some maintenance stuff like that...

also, smf seems to have released the public beta of their latest and greatest version... and by the release notes it does seem interesting... check it out... if it is worth it, we may as well upgrade...

Its on the home page now. Sorry I didn't do it earlier. It just never struck me! Frown/Sad

As for fixing the silverlight on the front page, I'm planning to move to 2.0 but I hate MS for having multiple binaries out there. 2.0 is in beta and 1.0 binaries are still the default. Seemingly these things aren't backward compatible either :S Its quite weird and acts, sadly, quite erratically for me. If this wasn't the case, I'd have started development on Silverlight a few months back.

As for the SMF update, I choose not to upgrade to betas unless they are absolutely stable and they say that the final isn't going to be out for a while. I'm not looking forward to updating and losing all the mods that you had installed. I don't really want to put in time now to reinstall mods in SMF Tongue
